Our Story

K9 Educational Institute is a professional dog training school in Québec that provides in-board dog training and fully trained dogs for sale.  Located on 10 acres of pristine wilderness in Ste-Justine de Newton Québec, we receive dogs for training from all over North America.

We are an all-breed obedience training facility that specializes in Dog Boot Camp, Obedience Training, Puppy Obedience Training Camp, and Service Dog Training.  Behavioural problems can be complex, which is why we encourage our clients to seek the training skills of a Certified Dog Trainer.

K9 Educational Institute has trained many dogs that have been deemed “untrainable“, by other trainers or owners at their wits end.  The training techniques we use are unique, and have been developed over more than 40 years of training and handling thousands of different dogs, of all shapes and sizes.

The goal of our Dog Training Boot Camp is to provide our clients with well-behaved canine companions that will follow commands, meet and greet people and/or guests under control, walk on leash without pulling, and come when called.  Our Pet Dog Boot Camp incorporates obedience into your dogs every day life by creating an environment that values proper etiquette and reinforces inherent strengths.  This program includes off-site field trips, physical conditioning, confidence building, behaviour modification, and more.  Weekly dog obedience courses, daily drop-off doggie boot camps, and group classes can be time consuming and not always effective.  Upon successful program completion, we provide our clients with one-on-one personalized handler instruction to ensure lifelong success.
